A&M / Goederenlift

A&M

At A&M Genk, everything revolves around efficiency, precision, and a smooth flow of component. Especially in the automotive sector, where timing is critical and every process must align seamlessly. To further optimise internal logistics, Wedico was called in to install a new goods lift, specifically tailored for transporting car tyres between floors.

Previously, tyre transport was less efficient. The existing solution required multiple handling steps, took valuable time, and placed unnecessary strain on the warehouse team. In an environment where large volumes of tyres circulate daily for brands such as Volkswagen and Å koda, there was a clear need for a robust, safe, and well-engineered solution.

The new Wedico goods lift was strategically integrated into the building’s logistical flow. Exactly at the point where tyres arrive and are distributed across different floors. Thanks to the spacious lift platform, multiple sets of tyres can be transported per cycle, significantly reducing the number of lift movements required.

The impact on daily operations was immediate. Where frequent and time-consuming handling was once the norm, transport is now bundled and structured. Fewer trips, reduced waiting times, and clearer planning result in a more efficient material flow and a calmer working environment.

Designed for intensive use in an industrial setting, the lift operates quietly, delivers reliable performance, and is built with durability and safety at its core. A solution perfectly in sync with the pace of the automotive sector and the high standards upheld by A&M Genk and its brands.

With this project, Wedico once again demonstrates its expertise in custom industrial logistics solutions. Not a standard lift, but a system designed to evolve alongside the needs of the customer.
