De Spiegeleire / Goederenlift

De Spiegeleire patés

At Spiegeleire Paté, craftsmanship, quality, and precision are paramount and that philosophy extends to the logistics behind the scenes. To further streamline internal operations, Wedico installed a new goods lift that makes a tangible difference in efficiency and ease of use.

The previous lift was outdated and impractically located. Positioned on the opposite side of the building, it required the warehouse operator to move through multiple areas to transport goods. In addition, only one pallet could be transported per trip, resulting in time loss and unnecessary movements.

The new Wedico goods lift was strategically integrated into the dispatch area, exactly where it was needed. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, two pallets can now be transported simultaneously a doubling of capacity that is immediately noticeable in daily operations.

The impact is clear: where the warehouse operator previously had to travel down every 10 minutes, one trip every 30 minutes now suffices. The flow of goods is smoother, waiting times are reduced, and the warehouse team can plan more efficiently.

The lift is also quiet, reliable, and energy-efficient, and is used intensively during the day. At night, it remains out of service, perfectly aligning with Spiegeleire’s production and distribution rhythm.

With this project, Wedico once again demonstrates its strength in custom engineering and logistics optimisation. Not standard solutions, but a thoughtfully designed system tailored precisely to the client’s needs. Ensuring that every pallet, like every piece of pâté, arrives at the right place at the right time.
