At Deliva in Genk, everything revolves around quality, scalability, and flawless logistics. As a leading player in the food industry, an efficient and hygienic flow of goods is essential. To further optimise the internal transport of meals, Deliva turned to Wedico for the installation of a powerful, intelligently integrated goods lift.
The challenge extended beyond capacity alone. It also required absolute reliability and strict hygiene standards. Every day, large volumes of meals are transported to the dispatch area, where speed and clarity are crucial. For this reason, a goods lift with a load capacity of up to 4,000 kg was selected. Designed for intensive use and perfectly aligned with Deliva’s logistical reality.
The lift was installed centrally within the building, right at the heart of the internal goods flow. This strategic positioning enables large quantities of meals to be collected quickly and in an organised manner, ready for immediate transport. As a result, truck loading runs more smoothly, with fewer intermediate steps and a clearer logistical flow.
Because hygiene is paramount in the food industry, special attention was given to ease of maintenance and cleanliness during both design and finishing. The lift is easy to clean, built from durable materials, and designed in full compliance with the strict standards required in food-processing environments.
The result is a robust and reliable solution that grows alongside Deliva’s production volumes. Fewer manual handling operations, fewer internal movements, and a more efficient dispatch process translate into significant time savings and added operational security.
