LOGGIA is a contemporary new-build development comprising 23 apartments, located in a quiet street and bordering a large, green inner area. The location is a major asset: within walking distance of Harmoniepark and Albertpark, close to the new Provincial House, and with easy access to public transport and the main connecting roads towards Brussels, Ghent and the Netherlands.
Within this project, smart use of space plays a central role. Where traditionally there would be room for around fifteen cars, an innovative parking system has been implemented in which cars are stacked. This creates space for no fewer than 30 vehicles, without additional paving or compromising the quality of the outdoor environment. A well-considered solution that reconciles mobility with living in a green and pleasant setting.
By organising parking efficiently, the above-ground space remains maximally available for quality of life and tranquillity. Residents benefit from comfortable parking facilities, while the project retains its open and green character. It is a clear illustration of how technology and architecture can reinforce each other within an urban residential environment.
