In the heart of Knokke, between Dumortierlaan and Lippenslaan and within walking distance of the seafront promenade, VANHOSTA Bouwgroep developed an exclusive residential project comprising five luxurious apartments. Designed by EL Architects, the residence combines high-end architecture with innovative technologies and exceptional living comfort in a prime location.
Upon arrival, residents access the property through a remote-controlled entrance gate. They then drive onto the car lift, which safely transports the vehicle to the underground level. Clear LED signalling ensures a smooth and secure process: a red light indicates that entry is not possible, while a green light confirms that the lift is ready for use. This makes every movement intuitive and safe.
Once underground, an automated parking system maximises the available space. Using a personal access badge, residents can easily retrieve their parking space, after which the system positions the vehicle in the correct location. Thanks to this innovative technology, eight parking spaces can be accommodated in an area where only three vehicles could traditionally be parked. The project was also designed with the mobility needs of tomorrow in mind. The parking spaces are pre-equipped for electric vehicle charging stations, allowing residents to conveniently charge their electric cars at home. In this way, the development seamlessly combines advanced parking technology with the modern requirements of sustainable and future-oriented living.
